Refund and Returns Policy

Oceania Institute, we strive to ensure that all our students and clients are satisfied with the services and educational programs we offer. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds and returns are processed. By using our services, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Tuition and Fees

  • Tuition Refunds: Tuition fees are generally non-refundable once the academic term has commenced. However, we offer partial refunds for cancellations made before the start of the term or in cases where a student withdraws under special circumstances. The specific refund amount is determined by the program and timing of the withdrawal.
  • Application Fees: Application fees are non-refundable once submitted, regardless of admission status.
  • Other Fees: Fees for services such as library access, labs, and special materials, Exam and certificates fees, Thesis fees are non-refundable once incurred.

2. Refund Process

  • Requesting a Refund: To request a refund, students must submit a written request to our Admissions Office at office@oceaniainstitute.com. Include your name, student ID, reason for the request, and any supporting documentation.
  • Processing Time: Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing. You will be notified of the decision via email or postal mail.
  • Refund Method: Refunds are processed using the original payment method. If the original payment was made by credit card, refunds will be credited back to the same card.

3. Program Changes and Cancellations

  • Program Changes: If a program is canceled or significantly altered by Oceania Institute, affected students will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to an equivalent program.
  • Student-Initiated Changes: For changes requested by the student, such as deferring enrollment or switching programs, the applicable refund or adjustment policies of the respective programs will apply.

4. Materials and Supplies

  • Return Policy: For educational materials and supplies purchased through Oceania Institute, returns are generally accepted within 30 days of receipt, provided the items are in their original, unopened condition. Some items may be non-returnable, such as digital products or customized materials.
  • Refunds for Returns: Refunds for returned materials will be issued to the original payment method, minus any shipping and handling fees. Shipping costs for returning items are typically the responsibility of the purchaser.

5. Exceptions

  • Special Circumstances: Refunds may be granted in cases of serious illness, death, or other exceptional circumstances, provided appropriate documentation is submitted. Each case will be reviewed individually.
